Pakistan Super League (PSL) is Pakistan’s Professional Twenty 20 Cricket League organized by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Pakistan Super league 2019 also known as PSL-4 will be the fourth season of PSL. Pakistan super League (PSL) is tournament where in 2015 and 2016, 2 seasons five professional world class cricket players teams up and compete to win a PSL Trophy. But similarly like PSL-3 this time PSL-4 will also feature six teams. The SIX teams which are the contestant of Pakistan Super League 2019 are from the 6 major cities of Pakistan which are: Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Islamabad, Quetta and Multan. The tournament is scheduled to be played from 14th February 2019, the opening ceremony is on the same day which includes number of stars which will perform in Dubai at Dubai international cricket stadium in the ceremony, some of the leading names among them are Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon, singers Aima Baig and Shuja Haider and singers of the title anthem Fawad Khan and rapper Young Desi were confirmed in the opening ceremony. The ceremony will also feature performances from American rapper Pitbull and British singer Marcia Barrett from German band Boney M. The tournament will end on 17th March 2019 with a total of 34 matches.

The Headquater of PSL is in Lahore. The regular season of Pakistan Cricket League (PSL) runs in the month of February, during this season each team plays 8 games in which the top 4 teams with best record will qualify for play offs and then the best two will play Final. Instead of operating as an association this is a single entity in which each team is controlled and owned by its investors as mentioned above.

Similar to last three seasons, this time too most of the matches will be played in United Arab Emirates (U.A.E). However 6-8 matches are expected to take place in Pakistan. They are expected to be played in Lahore and Karachi
